An hour, a lifetime of views

The places you came to see, all in one flight.

Our pilots fly small groups over the islands, glaciers and coastline of the Olympic Peninsula. Each loop starts and ends at the same runway, and each one is built to show you something a road or a ferry cannot.

Before you fly

A few things to know.

Weight

We ask every guest's weight when you book. Small aircraft are loaded on real weights, and it stays private.

Children

Children are welcome. Tell us their ages when you book.

What to wear

Dress in layers. The cabin is heated, but the walk to the aircraft is outside.

Cameras

Bring a phone or camera. Dark clothing cuts reflections in the window.

Aircraft and pilots

Small aircraft, commercial standards.

We fly flightseeing in high-wing Cessna 172 and 206 aircraft, and in the twin-engine Tecnam P2012 for larger groups. On all three the wing sits above the cabin, so the view below stays open from every seat.

  • Every flight is operated by Citizen Air, LLC under FAA Air Carrier Certificate No. RTEA813H (14 CFR Part 135), the same certificate that covers our charter flights.
  • Our pilots hold FAA commercial certificates and complete recurrent training on a set schedule.
  • Our aircraft are maintained by our own team.
  • If conditions do not meet our operating minimums, the flight waits. You are told early, and we rebook at no charge or refund in full.
