Who we are

A team that lives and flies here.

Citizen Air is an FAA Part 135 air carrier based at William R. Fairchild International Airport (CLM) in Port Angeles, Washington. We fly charter, SoundPass and flightseeing, offer fractional ownership, manage and maintain aircraft for their owners, run the FBO and teach people to fly, with the calm, precise service you'd expect from people who know this airspace.

The Pacific Northwest is home. It is not the limit of where we fly.

SoundPass

New to SoundPass?

More accessible than you think.

No security line and no connection to make. Here is what a trip looks like.

01

Arrive five minutes before

Park at the airport, walk in to the Citizen Air desk inside the terminal and meet your pilot. The aircraft is fueled and waiting on the ramp.

02

Bring what you need

Plan on a carry-on and a personal item each. Tell us about larger gear or the dog when you book, and we'll plan the load.

03

Make your connection

We fly into Seattle, Portland and Spokane to meet airline flights, and can arrange a car at the other end.

04

Know the price first

Charter is quoted per trip, all in. SoundPass seats and training rates are published.

Why Citizen Air

Why choose Citizen Air

Small aircraft, commercial standards.

Every charter, cargo, scenic and SoundPass flight is flown under our FAA Part 135 air carrier certificate. Our pilots hold commercial certificates with instrument ratings and train on a set recurrent schedule, and our own A&P and IA technicians maintain the fleet on the field. No accidents or incidents since operations began.

We know the Pacific Northwest. We don't stop there.

We fly regularly to Seattle (Boeing Field), Spokane, Portland, Friday Harbor, the Olympic Peninsula and Victoria, and we position aircraft well beyond the region when a trip calls for it.

Personal service.

Book a flight and leave the details to us. Our team arranges ground transportation, rental cars and lodging recommendations at the other end.

Transparent pricing.

SoundPass seats, flat-rate trips, flight training, rental and fuel are published. Charter, ownership and management are quoted in writing before you commit, with no hidden fees.

Meet the team

First-time flyers

Questions first-time flyers ask

Do I have to fly from Port Angeles?
No. We position the aircraft to the airport nearest you, and the positioning cost is itemized in your quote.
How is SoundPass different from charter?
Charter is the whole aircraft on your schedule, quoted per trip. SoundPass is a membership that sells seats on regional flights within 75 nautical miles of Port Angeles, from $195 a seat.
What does a flight cost?
Charter is quoted per trip. Flat-rate trips start at $275 one way for the whole aircraft to Port Townsend, and every published rate is on Popular Trips.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. Tell us when you book; some aircraft suit animals better than others, and additional fees may apply.
When should I arrive, and where?
Five minutes before departure, at the Citizen Air desk inside the terminal. Parking is free.
